<p>The Bethlehem Society represents a collective of individuals within the Catholic community, united by a shared belief that the contemporary Church yearns for a renewed relationship with Christ. Grounded in the teachings of St. John Paul II, we affirm that “the Church’s fundamental function in every age, and particularly in ours, is to direct man’s gaze, to point the awareness and experience of the whole of humanity toward the mystery of Christ” (Redemptoris missio §4). Much like the Star of Bethlehem, the Church serves as a guiding light, illuminating the way to Jesus of Nazareth, who embodies the way, the truth, and the life. We hold that any endeavor pursued outside this primary mission is ultimately destined for failure, echoing the reminder that apart from Him, “we can do nothing” (Jn 15:5).</p>

<p>The mission of the Bethlehem Society centers on promoting the New Evangelization by emphasizing the Christocentric nature of both the Gospel message and spiritual life. This goal is primarily achieved through the publication of the Star of Bethlehem, a digital magazine that features a diverse range of articles, reflections, poetry, and other written contributions from our members. Our diverse membership includes writers, speakers, educators, students, public servants, tradespeople, parents, religious figures, and professionals across various fields. This collective aims to reintroduce Christ to a world where there increasingly seems to be “no place” for Him (Lk 2:7).</p>
